Rocket yoga consists of a series of postures based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Series. It adds more strengthening abdominal moves which support arm balance and inversion practices, as well as hip openers, backbends and twists to create a well-rounded body and mind. Sweating is encouraged to purify and reshape your body.
Rocket yoga is an energetic and fast paced yoga style where the breath is linked with continuous movement. It is designed to wake up the nervous system, while promoting a spirit of change and freedom in practice.
Larry Shultz, the creator, designed an asana sequence that would invigorate and strengthen through using advanced postures, while still staying accessible. He says;

This fun practice respects all bodies with their limitations by providing modifications to poses meaning it is suitable for everyone!
